Western Asiatic Old Babylonian Cylinder Seal with Cuneiform Inscription 19th-18th century BC. A brecciated agate cylinder seal with three columns of cuneiform text, a standing figure in a flounced robe, crouching animal at the foot of a tree. 11 grams, 30mm (1 1/4"). Ex MD collection, London, UK; formed 1980-1990. The agate is very unusual, and this seal must have been highly prized. Very fine condition.
