Western Asiatic Akkadian Figural Cylinder Seal 18th-17th century BC. A carved banded agate cylinder seal with frieze depicting a seated bearded figure in flounced robe holding a cup towards a standing figure in a robe with herringbone pattern, a second figure in flounced robe, a third figure in tasselled robe, lamp with corrugated stand. 5.35 grams, 22mm (1"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired London art market, 1970-1980. Very fine condition.
