WESTERN ASIATIC OLD BABYLONIAN CYLINDER SEAL WITH ROBED FIGURES 19th-17th century BC

A haematite cylinder seal with frieze of figures in flounced robes addressing a standing figure with a mace; second register below of scorpions, lions and a facing male mask. 11 grams, 25mm (1").

Condition Very fine condition.

Provenance Property of a London gentleman; part of his family collection since the 1970s; supplied with a museum-quality impression.
