WESTERN ASIATIC KASSITE CYLINDER SEAL WITH GOD UTU AND 'MERMAN'

A large cylinder seal made of dark brown stone with red and white pattern, with six columns of cuneiform text; a seated bearded god facing a standing male worshipper, a 'merman'(?) above; the text translates and transliterates as follow: 1. utu en / Sun-god (Utu), lord 2. sag gal kur-kur-ra / great chief of the lands 3. digir zu nu - [x] / god, sage who does not... 4. kar su u-d[ug] / save when (your) hand is fa(vourable) 5. urdu ni-tuku / (your) reverential servant 6. KI-AG?-BA/ZU-x / (Personal name, unread) 27.64 grams, 41mm (1 1/2").
